I would've loved for 2205 to be the winner, because I absolutely love the setting. The mechanics of it however, were so simplistic and boring that I was truely disappointed. I'm glad they're back on track with 1800. Mechanically it's already the best imo. It's a bit rough in some areas right now though (diplomatics, camera-map relation, ship loading/unloading).
It all depends on the future updates and DLC.
It's hard to beat Deap Ocean though, that was epic!
check out gog dot com version. works like a charm for me
Yep i hope for future content and balancing too :)
Similar to me :)
On the contrary, 1800 provides quite some advanced optimizations with all these items and applying them locally through a building. So, if the rough edges of 1800 are being smoothed and the DLC's are good... it's definitely one on the top of all my Anno favorites.
While land combat doesnot existed sea combat and islands is back.
Workforce from 2205 is also back meanwhile Workforce is tied to a single island this forcing you to settle on another island.
"Ecobalance" is also back from 2070 while its not really ecobalance but peoples are complaining if Pollution is high.
Electricity existed! Oh boy... Those oils are mine!
Everything is very awesome... Many islands many peoples... But the Royal Tax is really annoying. Really? Royal tax is sucks! Anno 1800 forcing many peoples to settle on many island but guess what? The more you have, the more royal tax you will get.
