Hidden Ruins in Ditchwater on Campaign
I have a -2 modifier because of Ruins, but I cannot find it anywhere! Idk if I'm just missing it and it's very well hidden or if its a bug. Anyone knows?

I'm playing my second campaign playthrough, and in the first one I had the same problem

My money would be on well hidden since I haven't seen a comment about this before now.

Drag a box with the left mouse button over parts of the island as big as you can manage. That way you get all the ruins.

I just tried that, no luck

i'm having the same issue. i've double-checked, i can't find any remaining ruins. so it's either bugged, or *really* well-hidden..

I had this issue as well, after the main story line finished I realised I had the -2 modifier. I may have spent at least 30 minutes trying to find something.

It's not marked as rubble (it doesn't have the little red icon above it), but in the far north eastern side of the island, to the right of the bigger mountains, I found a little blackened shack in the forest.

It was very well hidden away as I had passed over the island like ten times before I finally spotted it. It's one of those types of rubble that you start the campaign with, where you click it and it's changed into materials after the loading bar finishes.

I looked for it in the spot you said, no luck. And I went all over the island again looking for it one more time, still found nothing. So frustrating

Dont zoom out while doing this trick. Drag and hold a box then move around your island, still holding the box, at normal zoom levels while doing so. Ive change controls to WASD and it was a question of mere seconds to find the remaining ruins.

I'm starting to believe my game is bugged. I tried that just now, and still nothing. Then I proceeded to *again* look for it with my eyes, zoomed in, and looked everywhere, and still no sign of ruins.

I know the answer to this.
I had the same problem.
You have one or more of your buildings that's turned to rubble. Probably due to a fire.
Find it and repair, or replace it.

Its obviously not that, since those rubbles have an icon above them and you receive a notification when your buildings get destroyed. I think its one of the campaign ruins you get to destroy and collect timber/bricks, but I cannot find it anywhere, which leads me to believe it is bugged. Either I destroyed all ruins, but one of them still gives the -2 modifier or there is an invisible rubble somewhere in the island.

There was no icon over the rubble when I found it.
Just take a close look at all your buildings

Just to be sure, I double checked my town, and not a single rubble among my buildings.

In my first Campaign playthrough I had the same -2 modifier, and now in my second one, again -2. In my Sandbox game I don't have any modifier, which leads me to believe it is one of the Campaign ruins and not a rubble from a fire.

If you look in the bottom left corner there is a tiny boulder, zoom really far in, thats your huckleberry.
