My FPS jumped from 37 to 77 in the same city, same save file, just by switching from 11 to 12. No crashes.
What the other guy said, always try DX12 first. If it crashes or is buggy, switch to DX11.
It's probably because my CPU has a lot of cores rather than high speed cores, if what the other post said is true.
Either way, it's worth a try, use a city as benchmark as biggest gain there.
Same, no crashes here either.
I gonna try the Dx12 option, but for exemple in Battlefield V the Dx12 option is unplayable. And with Dx11 I get average 100 FPS (full Ultra).
most games advertising DX12 unfortunately are not at all optimized for that api and are just converting DX11 thinking to DX12 using - which is not helping performance at all.
