Sandbox Crash
When I try to start a new sandbox game I have tried to create with custom difficulty. Changing the win condition directly crashes the game. Interesting... It is reproductive, you guys can try.

I'm having the same issue. I have started multiple games in sandbox already, everything was fine until today. It literally just crashes as soon as you reach the page with the winning conditions for me. I'll try different things/settings, see if I can find a way around this...

Same issue here :( Never tried sandbox before the latest update though. Is it a regression or did it never work?

Not changing the win conditions works for me btw.

It worked fine before, I can't even count how many sandbox games I started just looking for a map I wanted lol! But yeah, same here, it works as long as you don't touch anything on the winning conditions page. I tried offline mode, I tried to load a custom preset I had saved, everything crashes the game other than not touching that page. Everything else seems to be fine to safely modify in the custom settings. Hopefully they will implement a fix for this :)

Same thing for me...

It was working fine for me yesterday. But I can't find a way around the crash. I am trying all sorts of combinations.

Have you guys tried just not adding any game winning conditions? That worked for me, for now anyway.

There is another issue that popped up though. Once that game I created this was loaded up, I started building with blueprint mode, and as soon as I clicked on the upgrade tool button, it crashed again. I did some more testing, and it seems that pressing the hotkey for that tool (u) works fine, but every time I click on the button with my mouse, it crashes...

Is it the same for you guys? I submitted a ticket on the Ubisoft Support page, included some videos of both issues. I'll update here once/if I get an answer/fix, though it says to expect an answer within a few business days, and it's Friday :(

I'm trying right now. If I can get this to work for more then ten minutes I'll come back with some joy...

After I lay out my buildings in blueprint mode I try to actually build them and the game freezes. I have to close the program threw the task bar. I'll try not using blueprint and see if I have luck.

I am editing the Save presets file. I see some of the XML tags, so far, no luck.

I was able to get it working. It was hard. I had to load an older game that had victory conditions. Exit the game, to title screen. Go into Sandbox, and fiddle with my settings. Then I was able to do it.

What do you mean by "fiddle with your settings"? I'll give this a shot, cause so far, tech support told me it's my specs, and that makes no sense, considering I have 126 hours of gameplay on those same specs, and this issue only started happening today.

On top of that, I just tried starting a campaign mode game, to see if the upgrading issue kept happening there too, and it doesn't! Campaign works fine, it's just Sandbox that's messed up on my end...

Well I am sure this issue is not about PC spec oriented, because if you try without changing the win conditions, game starts as supposed to be. As I told before, its reproductive and I am sure this will happen again if I change the win conditions again...
Pansy Apr 26, 2019 @ 10:12pm
I changed the win conditions, loaded old games, went back to title screen. That worked. I loaded an old save with win conditions.

Are folks still having this problem?
