its been 4 hours, and not a sign of this "reapir crew" i guess i have to suppress all other NPCs and wait for it to re-spawn(ramdom location?
i have never seen any message about resettlement at all, and her base remained at the same status as the moment she got wiped, all turrets gone, main building collapsed and no trades screens
I had defeated countless time the resettlement of Jean La Fortune but he kept coming back. I'm now at a point where I'd like to engage in trading with both of them.
Has anyone found a fix for this?
Yes can rebuild in the first days the game comed out but after some update happer this bug.
But i not have tested recently.
Sorry to hear that some of you encountered this bug in game.
As Dracon said, this has been fixed with the latest patch, but the fix doesn't affect the savegames where the issue is already present.
So in any case, it should be fixed if you start a new sandbox save.
Don't hesitate if you need anything else.

It is nice that it is fixed, but this sounds like an issue that would be fixed by introducing some kind of reset functionality. Instead of ditching a 190 hour save (and the game) there should be some way to just reset the state of things on an old save. Like pirates, all ships, diplomacy statuses etc. With no console to fix these, just a reset save function would help a lot of players. Even if it would reset money etc it would be worth it.
The same save has an issue with multiples of NPC quests ships that have just kept spawning. Madame Kahina's harbour looks like the trade center of the world with 20 excess quest ships. A reset state function could be used to fix this too. It is not worthwhile to commit 100 hours to another save just to have it ruined by a bug that could easily be fixed with some kind of reset state function. If the games can last this long there should be countermeasures to fix issues.
Hey there
I completely understand your frustration with this. It's an unfortunate situation that in a lot of cases the fixes are not always retrospective as it stands.
I will certainly pass your feedback on to the team regarding this request.
Thanks

And what has become of it?
I have had the same problem for a long time. My savegame also has 190 hours. And both pirates are destroyed. There are 3 ships anchored in front of each base, but they are not rebuilt. And just because Anno 1800, with all the expansions, is so extremely lengthy, I don't want to just start from scratch when I haven't even played through the endless game once, with everything that's available so far.
With such a crappy lengthy game, it's unreasonable to say that players should create a new save game!
I love Anno. But I'm not starting from scratch because of a mistake I didn't make. Then almost 200 hours of life would be wasted for me. Because even though Anno 1800 is crazy fun, I also want to achieve something and do nothing for nothing!
