Can't launch the game
Verified the local files, uninstalled and reinstall the game. But still can't play the game.

The two files it describes can be used by our support specialists to check some system details, and check for any errors Windows itself has logged, which often allows us to give more specific and targeted troubleshooting recommendations. We can't do that here on the forum, though, so once you've got those two files prepared, please reach out to our support specialists directly at the link below.

If there are questions about this process, or for further information about our recommended steps, I strongly recommend creating a new thread, and fully describing your crash (when it happens, if there are any error messages, and which troubleshooting steps you've already tried). This makes sure we're in a better position to give relevant troubleshooting advice specific to your issue.

Game crash at startup
The game is always crashing at start up.
My PC is meeting the required hardware. GPU driver is up to date.
Game was running smooth for hours before the update. Until yesterday everything was fine, now nothing is working. Nice update?
Can someone help me or tell me that i am not the only one?

crashing here too

above min req system, game wowrked fine yesterday

crashes when launched through steam or uplay

Same here, worked just fine Yesterday on 2 Pc's
Windows 10 Enterprise and Pro, did some updates Yesterday .

just tried a full system reboot, made sure both Steam and Uplay were online and launched, and still no go

win 10 Pro

Yeah, have the same problem. Tested it with Steam Launch and UPlay Launch and crashed. Also after a reboot.

I am experiencing this right now as well in the middle of a game. Evidently they have just changed something.

looks to be affecting all platforms, not just us. Official ubi anno 1800 forum filled with crash reports too

Apparently it's caused by maintenance work on the Ubisoft Club Features. That's why it doesn't work for any platform because it still runs over U-Play

It literally CTD'd as I was playing, so an issue with the club features or uplay overlay makes sense.

Tested another Online Game (TrackMania Turbo) I could start it but couldn't play because it couldn't load the rankings xD
So yeah has something todo with Ubisoft Club
