Issues with goods being delivered to warehouse

My beer chain has the correct ratio of buildings (I even put in an extra grain farm because I thought I was going crazy, but I was right in the first place) and there are still somehow inefficiencies.

When I looked closer, I saw my malt germination thingies were fully stocked, had an inactive ZZZ cart, but my warehouse (right next to the malt thing) was completely empty 0/550!

Anyone else having this issue?

Alright I "fixed" it by moving the beer brewers away from the malthouses. It's like a beer distillery being next to a malthouse made the malthouse forget that it could also deliver to warehouses? This was never an issue for me until Update 4, interesting.

For me it's always been like when you plug your USB phone cable into the charger and it's the wrong way around both ways, except the third or so try when it's magically the right way to put it in. Sometimes the chains are just not efficient and you just add one extra whatever to fix it. At least 1800 lets you tweak the production percentages so you don't necessarily need to build a whole new factory to fix it. What I don't like is that they give you electricity and say, "Why not put it in all your buildings?" as if that wouldn't just ♥♥♥♥ up the delicate balance that is all of those production lines.

Yeah I decided to balance that by having half of my "final product" buildings crammed into one area and half of them scattered about my island by the crops, mines, farms, etc.

When I get electricity, I can just electrify the ones crammed together and then delete the rest that are scattered on my island.

I still think there is an error regarding goods delivery to warehouses, because this has never been an issue for me before Patch 4. I'm now having the same issue with glasses (glass only delivering to spectacle factory and not the warehouse despite making more glass than is needed for a single spectacle factory).
