game won't load after DLC download

If you mean the last big download then yes, several people are including me. My download gets to about 99% then transfers me to a Uplay page with the original full game download on it. If i click it I get a download failed message. Did your game update transfer you to a Uplay page? There are more posts on the Ubisoft Anno 1800 forum.

i am the same,i have been playing the game since its launch, got upgrade yesterday and it just keeps crashing have tried everything but no luck hope they soon remedy it.

Happens always during Ubi Club maintenance [support.ubi.com].
For some it works to switch uplay into offline mode and then turning off your internet connection.
Or you wait till maintenance is over.

mmmh i think its not the game that crashes - its the Uplay Launcher

after dlc download (100%)
detected an error -> crahses and in crashfolfer of the launcher (not the game)
(-> c/programs/uplay...../crashes ) im gettin now a launcher crush dump file everytime i try start the game)

I got season pass yesterday and was able to play just fine afterward. I loaded my saved sandbox game and chose to link it to sunken treasures. I played 2 hours no problem. Today I try to play and game crashes when trying to start, won't even make it to the Anno main page. Any info on when a fix is coming would be great...Im bored!

new update:
i switch to offile mode, then again switch to online mode - uplay laucnher, then i turn on
ccleaner, and when i fix "registry editor" mistakes. it helps me. Now Game is running!

Game keeps crashing when I load my savegame or a few seconds after the map loading finished
I had no problem yesterday and the day before.....
