Voice Mod Casting Call (Looking for Voice Actors!)

Welcome!

We at BASE (Balancing Act Studio Entertainment) are currently looking for voice actors (both amateur and professional) to help produce a high quality Voice Mod for Coffee Talk downloadable through the Steam Workshop!

Not long ago we successfully produced and released a VA-11 Hall-A Voiceover YouTube series with relatively good reception, which you can find a playlist of here. Even before we finished we knew we wanted to work on a Coffee Talk Voice Mod; pre-production is almost finished and we're now looking for Voice Actors to join us for this project!

Participation/positions in this project are completely voluntary (meaning unpaid); it's all for good fun, but can be good practice for (aspiring) voice actors!

Casting Requirements:

• Must have a good mic: USB or XLR microphone (No laptop/headset microphones)
  
• Have some sort of acoustic treatment / recording booth
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Must adhere to deadlines

General Rules:

• Please be communicative. Timeliness is important and is needed in order to keep the project moving forward.
  
• Be accepting of critique! Everyone’s not perfect and may interpret lines differently than what the director envisions. Be prepared to redo lines when necessary.
  
• Please use the Discord server as strictly for project purposes as much as possible! Some casual conversations are fine here and there, but it is primarily meant to help organize the project between members.

Submission Deadline:

Auditions will conclude at March 31st, 2024.
The casting will be announced roughly within a week after the conclusion of auditions.
