Game similar like CQ1 & CQ2

Hello,

my son loves cat quest but now we are looking for alternatives. Do you know other games with the same game mechanics like CQ1/2 and one which is also child friendly?

When I google alternatives it is either completly other game mechanics or not for kids.

I'd recommend Bastion from Supergiant games for similar playstyle

Crosscode has similar battle and control. Not sure how child friendly it must be, it probably 12+ PG, so sorry if it is too much for your case.

My wife calls me the crazy catman lol, This game is perfect. I'd like to play other cat like games i was thinking stray but im not sure what that is really like.
