How do I get the Kingsblade II?

I know the actual steps; turn on all mewdifiers on mew game. The problem is that I only do 5 damage per spell cast (or 1 damage per tick of certain spells).
I cannot level up, nor equip anything. I also cannot level the spells so I am doing the max damage I am capable. The road block I hit was when I had to fight Kit Cat. She could out heal my DPS. Is there something I am missing? Has anyone completed this challenge and if so did you find a way to do more damage?

I loved the challenge runs in the first one, but this one seems way out of line. I hope I am missing something.

you can do Mew Game with just one mewdifier, complete that run, then use that same save file for Mew Game+ to attempt the all-mewdifiers run.

It's more or less the same steps but you do it as a level 100 instead of level 1.

This did it. The only criticism I have of this game is that New game and Mew game are not interchangeable.

good news is i can easily get this by reaching player level 300 and doing ng+ at lvl 0 difficulty, then i can give my unlocked weapon on a file of my choosing.
