However, Cat Quest 2 does not support two keyboards. You have to have at least one gamepad.
As an alternative, you can also use Steam Link celphone app as a joystick (and also to play remotely without Parsec if you desire).
If neither of you have a joystick and you don't want to use Steam Link app to play on the phone with touch controls, the last choice would be for any of you to use vJoy (virtual joystick, binding certain keyboard keys to the virtual joystick, just make sure you'll be using different keys than the other "keyboard player"
Then you *might* either need to enable Steam controller support for generic joysticks on Steam (for the host) or use Xbox360CE software to make the virtual joystick be recognized as a D-input controller. Since I haven't ever used vJoy, I don't know if those other steps are needed, but might be.
I just had the craziest setup this weekend (with another game, but whatever): I left my PC online with Steam and Parsec open. A friend of mine used my PC to play a local co-op game, and then I connected using Steam Link app on my phone to my PC and setup a touch joystick to play with him. Remotely, I wasn't at home as well.
So, my PC was streaming video/audio to my celphone and his computer, and his computer was sending inputs with his joystick, while I was sending input from my phone. Crazy times, haha.
Oh also I don't recommend using "Party" mode on Parsec, unless you intend to play with randoms. It's always better to just befriend the other and let him connect. And if you're not playing remotely at all, just use Steam Link app on phone instead.
Also, most of the time, when both controllers were on before start of game, game would crash the second the 2nd player joined. Yes I know VERY old necro post, point is, its still not working (or is busted again)
