Stuck in “far fetched cave” and Hotto Grotto (bug?)

I’m stuck in “far fetched cave” and Hotto Grotto and cant find a way back to the mainland. It’s the cave with the electricity shooting in like a square. Can’t find an entrance of light to anywhere but Hotto Grotto. Playing on iPhone. Tried going far south in the cave to find an exit but there’s nothing.
