Help! I can't exit the excavation site

I returned to clear the King Woofhauser’s ruins and now i can't exit de excavation site. I tried going back through the Far-Fetched Cave but the only way out sends me to the excavation. Is there another hidden path?

Yup. Me too. Just ran into this, but apparently from the opposite direction.

I explored the 'far fetched cave' and entered via the centre entrance, and exited by the north-east one; resulting in you being sent to the excavation site which is blocked off by insta-death traps.

You need to go into the 'far fetched cave' in the north-east of the excavation site, then walk left and south until you can see a bunch of green bullet hell things, head to the centre of that and there's an exit point there.

I’m there I think but I still see no exit. Playing on iPhone. Is there a YouTube walkthrough somewhere?

i would honestly have waited until i got the water walking power, as there's an area of water not blocked off.

When you get to the center of the floating green bullets, look at the floor. You´ll see there is a circle of light, that is the exit of the cave. It's kind of dificult to notice since there is so much happening around, but it's there.
