What can you tell me about "diy water tank"?
①I want to make drinking water. Is the "diy water tank" useful?

Thank you for letting me know.

I crafted a large tank, filled it with dirty water from the pond, brought it back to the base, and used a water filter to convert the dirty water into drinking water.
I no longer have a problem with drinking water.

I hope rainwater can be converted to drinking water using a water purifier too.

I've never tried to fill the water purifier from the big red tank,
maybe you have to go through a bucket or maybe it works...
I once managed to put a blue tank in a truck to have more water after being at the pond.

Yes, my big tank is blue.
I have enough drinking water.

Currently, food is unstable.
I have set traps to hunt small animals, but with no success at this time.
I would like to grow something, but I cannot find any seeds.

Yes, my big tank is blue.
I have enough drinking water.

I don't think seeds are currently in the game right, but I could be wrong.

You're better off hunting chickens. That way you get meat/fat/feathers.

In any case, you can buy them in the NPC camp if that hasn't changed since 0.6.1.

Chickens are good hunting prey because they can be killed with a bow and arrow.

The game being the way it is...

Build a chicken coop and try filling the chicken coop water reservoir with dirty water...
Tadaaa... insta drinkable water... It's an exploit... not game immersive..

Still cheaper than a DIY water purifyer or a rain water collector...

PS Seeds are in the game, look for farming communities or the trader to get them
(not really useful for human food, corn yes it makes chicken feed, but good for selling crop at the trader)

Thanks for the information.

I could not imagine that the chicken coop cistern could be used for drinking water.

You are right, our hunger is not satisfied with the current crops. I hope that in the future the game will have a dish that will fill us up with crops.

The problem with that is that the current soups require broccoli, but we can't plant broccoli.

Come to think of it, I have never seen broccoli in this game.

It's usually looted off bandits and infected, but the one or two you get off farming infected/bandits usually rot before you get the other ingredients, so it's virtually useless and a waste of time.

You are absolutely right.
I will eat tomatoes, potatoes, etc. before they rot, but they are less effective in satisfying hunger.
It is better to harvest tomatoes, etc. just before cooking.

I wish I could grow potatoes.
