CAR JACK DEVICE

HOW TO MAKE THIS ITEM? THE WHEEL DOES NOT GO TO INVENTORY
IS THERE A LOCAL I CAN FIND?

There are two that I have found. One in the large garage building close to the place that has the garbage trucks, and another by the pickup at the saw mill near the right side of the pickup.

I think there is no way to make any Car Jack Device. I tryed and i can't do it, because the wheel does not go in inventory

You do not need to have it in your inventory. If you are carrying it it will work. The tire I mean.

I am carrying it when I approach the work bench, but it still does not register. Is there any specific way of doing it that I am missing?

There is in big building near mine, and in farm close to white sedan (if i don't misremember). I missed it several times because that tools looks like random indestructible item.

To be honest I thought it would work the same way as the logs but now I am not sure as I have always used the static spawn location across from the mine on the bottom floor of the abandoned building there. I will go experiment myself and let you know what I find.

Edit : Ok - attempted to build a Car Jack with a wheel not in inventory and was unable to complete the build. I have found 2 static spawns for car jacks (one listed above, the other I can not remember at the moment). If you want to make a car jack you will need to use the DevTool to spawn a tire into your inventory. To use the DevTool you need to ether use the "+" on the Number Pad or on a virtual keyboard if, like me, you are using a laptop that does not have a Number Pad. 3 quick taps on the + key should bring it up and to close it just open and close inventory. doesn't show up in Inventory ..

I don't understand the confusion? The car jack is a "static" object. It does nothing and is only for looks.

If you want to put a tire on a car all you need to do is walk up to the wheel location you want to install (while carrying a wheel in hand) and install it. Takes ten minutes and super easy.

The carjack is there to flip your vehicle back over when/if it flips over.

Absolutely! I can't say how many times a leaf on the road or trail has flipped the vehicle I'm driving.

I joke about the truck being flipped by air. but it does get flipped by stinking leaves in the road. Sometimes it recovers. but a few times, need a car jack.
