How do you use a bow?

I just started playing this.
I found a recurve bow and some hunting arrows. I have the arrows in my inventory, but I am unable to draw arrows to the bow. I tried moving the arrows to the quiver slot in my equipment and to the bow.
So what gives? Do I actually have to have a quiver to use a bow? Seems like a big oversight. I'm naked so I'm not sure why I can even carry 12 things to begin with.

You need to put the arrows in the quiver and then equip the quiver. Right click on the quiver and add arrows. Then right click on the quiver again and equip.

the bow need a cross hair it's hard to aim

Yes, I agree. Crosshairs are an acceptable break from reality for gameplay.

i cannot use it. it is absolutely hilariously inaccurate. Either that or i am just plain terrible at it. i spend hours hiding and attempting to snipe bandits laughing out loud at myself at the carnage of my inabilities. i can hit NOTHING, lol.

arrows go up and to the left if i remember correct. So adjust accordingly. However the compound is accurate.
