In case you aren't aware yet, you should ALWAYS save before getting in a vehicle and when your're about to use the jack.
I'd personally rather save before I got in the vehicle in the first place. That way I can reload before it flips (especially since the jack is so buggy).
+1, this method has worked for me so far every time, i save before i use the jack and reload after launch. FYI, i drive like crap and use the jack EVERY DAY, this works.
I have observed that if you use the car jack (obtained from spawn menu +++) then the car will bounce for sure. I too had the same issue. But when i found a car jack in game and used it, no problem. So find a car jack first and then use it.
I'm thinking this is right. Tried that a few days ago cause my truck flipped and instead of reloading the save, I spawned one in to see what results I'd get. Yup, it went flying. So I reloaded the save and drove recklessly to get it to flip. Used the lootable jack and it worked just fine.

My spawned in jack sent my truck flying too, so I suppose there really is an issue with that one. But, the looted one works fine.
With that said, did you happen to spawn in the truck that is orbiting now?
nope, one truck from the substation below the mine and the other one from the garage below the hotel. Both are painted, one green and one black.
Then it's probably the color that caused it.
