From dead bear to fueled generator?

Hi.
I assume we harvest the bear and cook it in a pot to get bio fuel.

But I am not sure how to get that bio fuel into a generator?
Also, I spawned in a can of bio fuel and see now way to fuel the generator with it?

I am able to fuel it with gas from gas container though.

You harvest the fat from the bear and then melt that into biofuel.

Which generator? There is a yellow one and there is one that can be crafted. I never tried putting biofuel in the yellow gennie, but I think it's possible. The craftable gennie can take biofuel. Press F (or E?) to open the UI for the craftable gennie and on the left you will see where to add the fuel (bio or gas). Drag and drop it in the square and let it fill.

IMO, it's better to use real gas for the gennies since gas is much easier to get than bear fat.

Animal fat goes into the cooking pot that hangs over the fire (not the metal pot you find). When you open the cooking pot, you can select food or render fat.

Currently Bio fuel is sort of limited. Tiki Torch. DIY generator that you build. I do not know of any other use at this time. Bio fuel does not work on the big yellow generators that are part of the base.

Yes, I just tested both generators and anything else I could think of that needs fuel. (fires, vehicles) but I just thought of the hand held torch. I think it needs fuel also. it might work there.

So far have just tried using the spawn-able green bio fuel can on the yellow generator at the white house. When I press E, nothing happens, no UI appears. That generator also has a panel on the left with an E and it also does not respond.

Gas will work. But a lot of folks say to save gas for cars. But I may not have a choice.
I am not sure, if I craft a generator can it be used at the white house (which already has one there)?

Yes you can. Each generator powers different things no cross over.

The big yellow generator must have gas. That generator only powers the LIGHTS in the house, or lamps that you find.

Generators
The big yellow generator that is attached to a base can only power 2 items. The lights built into the base, and looted lamps that are already in the game, placed in the power zones. (White house outlets).
This only runs off of gas, and has a horrible record for many people of deleting fuel on exit.

The DIY generator you build powers all the items you build on either your crafting menu or the workbench. Small Fridge, Large Fridge, Floodlight, Lamp post and wall light. This generator can be powered by Gas or Bio Fuel. Interact with the generator, place the fuel in it.
