Car headlights

We need Headlights on cars to work , cant see at night to go roaming in my car

Known problem, not fully worked out.
Did you modify the truck and put the bumper on it. If so, the bumper acts like a solid object and blocks the light.
My fix has been to attach a generator and lights to the truck/caravan. It's amazing how well the ultra bright array works (14 spotlights light up a huge area)

Even without the bumper, in my games some times the lights work, but normally they do not.

mine work all too well ..

i be afraid at night that it will draw unneeded attention ..

Nope truck was fresh of the lot , damn dealer i knew i should not have listened to the sales banter and bought me a chevy lol

Did a check and it seems that the headlights do actually work but only in the daytime but will not illuminate at night , the roof rack lights stay lit all the time but give zero light

My lights work fine. Don't know why some players have them and others don't.

Where did you mount the lights, I've tried different places but they wont stay, keep floating in the air, wont stay attach to the truck bumper or the rack area.

i have no problems could be because i keep these settings ..
(Morning /noon/ night or rain)

i set foliage to low ..

Distance to high or better ..

Motion blur Off ..

Detail Mode High ..
Textures High ..

i put (post processing) to high (or higher) ..

i remove Blur entirely ..

i keep foliage on low ..

i keep distance on High ..

anisotropic filtering OFF ..

textures high ..

vsync ON (choose speeds that comply with my monitor) ..

global illumination low ..

reflection quality Med ..

*anti-alasing method .. choose wisely
(i use TAA most safe for my system) also allows me to get actual damage while using sniper and to see through scope ..

Shadows OFF ..
Shadow distance Low ..

Effects Low .. don't really need it now ..

*Detail Mode High .. (also helps with Sniper Scope) ..

Where did you mount the lights, I've tried different places but they wont stay, keep floating in the air, wont stay attach to the truck bumper or the rack area.

3 on the Roof rack. one forward, 2 slight angles. Then the others on the caravan rack Down the sides and one facing to the rear. I use the spotlights. The light posts also seem to work. If trying to use the wall mount lights, those have to go in the caravan rack. they will not move if placed on or in the trailer. They float when I drive away.
