Truck headlights wont work

They seem to be hit or miss for me. Sometimes they work great, other times I wish I could hang my flashlight out the window when I drive. I do have better luck with the driving lights when I use the "C" option to get a birds-eye view.

Hit or miss even during the same game session. Some are also noticing that if you have the custom bumper put on in the shop, that will prevent the lights from working, it seems the light can't pass through another object, like the bumper...

My car lights work when I first load a game until about an hour of use. It is almost like they have batteries of their own. I have both the bumper and light bar. I have noticed the same behavior whether or not I have modified the truck. I have not experimented with the SUV or ATV.

I noticed the same thing. Even with the additional lights addon to the truck, the lights do almost nothing at night.

My fix for the lights was to add the roof rack, a generator and 2 floodlights on the rack. as long as I have fuel, I have lights.

Quite the workaround lol. My chickens live up there though xD

I think it’s the larger bumper yes. Only started when I added that.

Tried this it works well i wish it worked for the little craft-able lights but only flood light and wooden light, fun fact the ATV has really good lights, also the bullbar and roof racks do not project any light at this stage it seems.

It does work on the small craftable light.

The problem with the small craftable light, it is not mobile. So yes the small generator will power it, but you can't mount the light on the caravan and drive with it. At least that has been the problem in my game.

Mount those small lights on the top rack, not on the caravan itself.
