White House Generator

I have started to transfer fuel from gas cans into the White House Generator. Once 70% full, once 50% full and the last time 15 % full. I save my game after each transfer, and of course when I get ready to log off. But when I log off game and then Steam, and then log back into the game, the generator is back to 0. EMPTY. Three tries, three lost fuel events. Is this a know issue? I guess i will empty the house Generator before logging off if it's an issue, but as of now I do not know if my Gas cans will also be empty when I log back in. Thanks

Thank goodness, so far that is Not an Issue that I have had _ Yet.

Lost a ATV Tire from garage today .. had 4 spare one when I left game yesterday and today Only had 3 .
Generator is at 100% when I left just a bit ago. I'll check when I log into game tomorrow.

Great thanks. Thought I'd add. The Generator was definitely turned OFF while I played. I'v actually only punched the on button once just to see how electricity actually works in the White House, but I am absolutely positive I did not use the fuel. It just goes to 0. Frustrating.

ATV tires are my bane. I keep losing them. I stack 2 or 3 come back to the game and there are missing spaces. and we can't spawn in things that the game like to steal from the players. I mean if we only have this one time to loot an item, then the game steals it. that is cheating the players.

generators from the game are buggy atm. best you build one from the crafting menu.

All I know, I have my base located at the White House. Great location. But every time I put fuel into the large house generated attached to the back of the house, and the log off, when I log back on it's empty. I love this game, but honestly, I wish Dev would consider having a few heavily guarded Zombie houses re spawn loot. Zobbies carry loot so why wouldnt they restock their house? Also a few less new stuff, and maybe a focus on some of the bugs.

Well .. it must be something with your game saves ... Logged back in and my gas was just fine in the generator.

The white house genny was supposed to be fixed. I haven't had any problems, but others have. A workaround would be to craft a genny and craft a few lights to place around the house. The crafted genny doesn't have any problems...........that I know of.

You can spawn in ATV tires. It's under the Misc section about half way down and shows as an empty spot. They then show as a white block in your storage and the advantage to this is that you can then put the tires in a locker.

Where do I place a crafted Generator? And would it cover entire house and garage. or would I need to craft a few? Thanks all again.

Place a crafted generator any place you like. They power items up to 30 meters away I believe. so one generator between the house and garage will cover both and still leave room to place extra lights around the edged of a base area. They can be mounted on the truck or caravan to become mobile power if needed.

err, a stupid question: does the generator LOOK empty, or is it ACTUALLY empty? what happens if you load game and push that button on the "0%-full" generator?

I have the same problem, it’s empty. It won’t turn on when I push the button. I can refill it and then it will turn on.
