New Map Best Possible Base Location Request

I haven't played this game for a long time so now that I am on a new PC I decided to give this game another look. I am curious where is the best recommended location for a new game to start a base at? Please list pics or some type of map coordinates if possible.

The white house is a great base, Some clutter that keeps coming back, but it has storage built in. I believe I counted 282 storage spaces built into the white house and the garage.

After getting use to the game a lot of players go to the lake to build on.
The White House is still the best location in my opinion.

While I agree with the above that White House is the BEST to start, I feel like the Waterworks building is superior down the road as it's much larger inside and is right against a major Highway while also having a Mine directly across from it. Water is close-ish being up north a little. You'll just have to build it all yourself, floors/walls/doors (for inside) to span across the Beams. It's 3 levels but has no "Garage" as the 2 big doors don't operate. It also has objects that I don't think can be destroyed on the ground level.

It also has no Light switches nor one of the big yellow Generators so if that's a deal breaker for you, understandable.

That waterworks building is nice. other than no garage, which really is not a deal breaker. One built generator and a few lamp posts can do a good job for light. Since it's not designated as a base I can see why it has so much more clutter. Now that the mine is working, access to raw material is important. Has anyone tried to build stairs in the mine to cover the parts that sometimes allow us to fall through? I have been thinking about trying that to see what happens.

um the new map zone 01 has been removed from the game for the time being. there is only zone 00 which is the old original map
