This game is promising, there are a lot of great ideas and innovation, and it takes time to code, to script. unfortunately, there are a bit too many ideas, so there is new content, but the bugs persist and pile up even more.
The only two things I regret are the wall between the players and the developer, and the organization and logistics in the development, a little chaotic and without logic.
But this game is worth what it costs, clearly.
games can go downhill fast mate if the dev stops communicating with the player base and looses the passion for their game and stops working on it and the game just gets left in a broken state, this is exactly what happened to xera survival, the dev abandoned the game and no one has heard from them for months all we were told was to "be patient" season are ment to last 3 months in that game and now its been over a year and still nothing has happened, i have 2400 hours in xera and now i just dont play anymore and almost the entire playbase has left the game, xera has an average of about 50 players on the whole game now, it used to be 1000's of players back when the dev still had passion for the game but thats all gone now, thats why i was hesitant with this game because it came out in 2018 its been 5 years now so either 2 things can happen the game dies like xera and isnt worth getting now, OR the dev still has passion for the game and its still alive and worth getting now, from the replys in this thread it seems like the player base is still playing and the game is worth getting.
Save your money and wait. Three future content updates since last year with no progress in active game play. Bugs fixes from numerous years still not fixed. I haven't played since January of this year, my activity will show otherwise but that was misclicking the wrong game to play.
I play 2 other EA survival games, one which has had over 20 updates including bug fixes in 4 months. The other which has had around about a half dozen updates including bug fixes in 3 months.
