Change the wheel
Please look at the time to change a wheel because it is a bit absurd 30min to change a wheel, at most even the most clumsy takes 5min.

Yeah, but it takes A LOT longer to install an engine, yet it's only 45 minutes.

Maybe with a power tool.
Are you telling me that you remove and put 4 wheels 4h??? Yes, you would be expensive as a mechanic.
I have disassembled the 4 wheels of my car with the key that the car brings in 25min, with a pneumatic screwdriver it would take less.

Real world metric on these type of things would look something like this.

Non-power tools:
- 1 minute to loosen lugs
- 1 to 2 minutes per lug (5 lug pattern)
- 10 - 15 seconds for grabbing and placing lugs
- 1 to 1.2 minutes for removing the tire
- 40s to 1.2 seconds for tire placement

Min time = 7.5 minutes; Max time = 9.35 minutes

Power tools:
- 1 minute to loosen
- 5 second per lug (5 lug)
- 10 seconds for placing the lugs
- 1 to 1.2 minutes removing tire
- 40s to 1.2 minutes for tire placement

Min time = 2.75; Max time = 3.75

All of this of course ignores strength, fitness level (cardio), coordination, experience, and of course the weight of the parts. This also does not take into account moving the jack and setup for each tire as it is ignored in the game.

Considering all in all. Since heat, jacking the vehicle is not a factor. I think 15 minutes is a good offer. If you were to do this in real life in the heat and you were attempting to do a tire rotation on a single side of a vehicle. 30 to 60 minutes per side is not a bad estimate.

30 min for a tyre change in-game is fine. It adds to the fear of getting caught by the infected when you are vulnerable.

No not at all, Señor!

Definitely NOT 4 HRS! That's crazy. But I do agree with the developer's decision to reduce the time to around 15 minutes/wheel... So, that's 1 hour to change 4 tires by hand - no pneumatics. Hey, it's the end of the world, maybe the lugs are jammed/rusted! xD

But I can tell you must be used to taking care of your own car and can probably manage using tools better than many people even bother or want to... So of course you would be much faster, but the current game mechanics don't take experience or crafting skills into account, not yet at least.

Very good post! Mr. T!
I have not said that 15min seems too much to me, it seems to me something more adjusted to reality but before 1h to remove and put a wheel... it was too much
