Mist Survival

Mist Survival

Where in the hell is the controller support?
Come on now... the game's engine literally allows you to drag n drop n customize controller support very easily. Been having this in my wishlist for a long time and keep checking back to see if that controller support was implemented yet. There's no excuse to not have it. I have health issues that don't allow me to use a m+kb very long. Hands are already numbing up after writing this. If you're not going to implement controller support, just say so. Sick of seeing this on my wishlist now.

You can easily change all games' key bindings to controller support through your Steam Settings. There is a Steam mode specifically for controller support and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. It may take you some trial and error to get it the way you want it but it can be done with this game.

This game does not have any reliable or stable setup for controller support. Not sure if anyone has been successful at getting a controller to work in this game yet.

I would not suggest changing key bindings unless you are savvy enough to work through the possible problems that occur when doing this. It is a well known problem for players to have their key bindings get all jacked up trying to rebind. Be careful. If it doesn't work, just go back to default key bind settings.

My guess is the dev does not use a controller to play this game. He did say he would add controller support with the update to ue5 so somewhere in ver. 0.6.x. It will be on your wish list a bit longer if the last updates are proof of anything.
The dev seems to change his priorities randomly so who knows. Happy gaming :)

I doubt that is ever going to even happen. Once Sons of the Forest comes out, I will forget about this entirely. So will the dev probably lol.

As you don't have this game in your game inventory, you must have searched about controller support. With that search you would of found a response from the developer and potential plans for controller support if he gets it to work. As the game store page does not state anything about controllers, only way possible.

If your hands are getting numb after such a short message, not a chance you be able to manage long hours even with a controller. Your rant sounding more like I'm not getting it my way so I'll write an angry rant instead.

People playing a PC game and fussing about a controller... there are some consoles out there...

I don't have any physical problems but not being particularly gifted in the commands of a game, I have been playing for a few years with a mouse which has 2 additional buttons for the thumb and it changes my life and more particularly for the main and secondary interactions like looter, etc... For the keyboard, my movements are set on the arrow pad, jump with the delete key and run and crouch with right shift and right Ctrl, next to the arrows. Ormis for other ancillary commands like inventory, build, etc... I play with my hands steady and stationary, just the fingers need to move most of the time, opening, closing loot cabinets is very quick with the thumb when you are used to it and you save a lot of time.
I didn't invent anything of course but I know that many still play with a classic mouse and personally I think a controller is too complicated/evolved for a simple survival game.

How To Use A Controller On ANY STEAM PC Game Tutorial (Xbox, PS4, Steam Controller)

It really is not a difficult process. When I first started playing PC games years ago, I used Steam's controller support settings and I did play Mist Survival with a combination of a PS4 controller and the keyboard (for specific building commands) until I became competent enough to use only the keyboard. Yes, you have to put in a little effort researching how to do it and setting it up, and it won't be perfect, but there are controller templates that other people have made which you can use. For the amount of time that you've put into this thread complaining about the developer not having 'built in' controller support on his game, you could have watched this video, synced your controller with the game's keybindings and started playing the game.

But that is not what I want I want it in game even if the game is a buggy mess and need soo much work WE need INGAME controller support now.

P.s I was kidding if couldn't tell, if it isn't someone crying about controllers it is when multiplayer we need multiplayer or game will die. Best part is even if rati had this game 100% complete and done will just get what no updates this is a dead game years after the fact.
Wow some people are just flat out ignorant it seems and defend crumbs and slices in replacement of of biscuits and steaks. What a sad world we live in. This thread is DEEP.
I want a havadi burger with some cheddar crusted fries. I'm gon have a havardi burger with some cheddar crusted fries. For real, no controller support = I move on and find a better game. I want a havardi burger with some cheddar crusted fries. Not a plate of fish and chips you plunker.
Oi Oi Oi!
