I've tried this and I have to say it seems to have reduced some of the lag I was getting, not completely but enough to reduce the annoyance. Well done Icebreaker.

Yes, I also relieved the cpu a bit ;) and the shadow optimization makes a big difference. But also with the clouds... I reduced the more distant ones a bit, but the closer ones were more detailed. Brings something optically and technically and performance. Thanks ;)

The Engine doc has aload of lines titled path, and none of that ^^ txt in it

nice job, just installed my new GPU today , played this game for a bit to test things out and noticed your setting so i tried it and game looks alot better, performance wise it seems better but definatly needs optimizations still, thanks again!!
p.s. new card is a RTX 3070, was using my trusty 1070 for 6 yrs now :)

Yes, I've been playing around with some games for a couple of months, and I've been able to achieve quite great success (27k downloads of a graphic mod from me). Quite a lot is possible via the ini. More like it says on the net. I'm already moving around in the unreal forums and I'm happy when I learn something new. It took me maybe 10 minutes for this. I'm now curious about the many replies. Just download the game again. the thing with the water shaders is what excites me, let's see what can be done there.

I've done more than 30 graphic fixes (in over 350 hours) for scum as well, and I've also polished conan properly. Everything can be seen in my guides and workshop objects :)
In any case, I would like to thank you for the great positive feedback. I do it because of the players too :) I don't get any money, and I rarely get a thank you from the devs.
