Yes the pen need to be reworked a little i think too.
I love this game too, i was just searching a game like DayZ but solo, and i found this one on youtube, and yes it will become a real good game indeed ^^
It don't have more bugs than any other alpha game. Yet i can say it's not really bugged but not finished.
I have many early access games in my library. I'd say this one is probably the buggiest.
BTW, where did you get your copy of the game? Steam shows you don't own it.
Why can't i talk about the game when i don't have it here ? The game is on another computer with another steam account. Stop wrong assomptions, please.
I can see the randomness of it. If you hit all soft tissue then the tip will be relatively unscathed. If it hits a bone the tip can be blunted or broken. If you miss and it hits the ground it could also be relatively undamaged or blunted or damaged. Seems realistic to me.
I think arrows should also be randomly damaged. The edge can be dulled by hitting a bone or cartilage. Sometimes an arrow can end up with a broken shaft or separated head - especially when the victim falls onto it or rolls when it falls.
Maps should retain marks, period. Pencil lead doesn't wear off for a very long time. Those marks should be persistent. Maybe even erasable. Maybe even implement a text entry box so you can make a different mark instead of a simple x or check.
