Break things?

So iv got this neat camp but it’s cluttered. I want to remove the junk. Iv tried sledgehammer, axe, crowbar and shovel, I can’t find a single thing that’s destroyable. Is it possible to destroy stuff like in earlier versions but I’m doing something wrong? Or is that not in yet?

Same, it's really annoying to have indestructible assets like chairs, crappy shelves or fake lockers getting in the way of designing your base.

Speaking of breaking things. The sledgehammer is second to useless. You can break the occasional shelf here and there, but in general, nothing like before. I've not found one smashable car/camper etc. *Insert sadness here*

Just gotta wait. Until they come, if you don't want loot refresh spam, you'll have to kill bandits for firearms. Harvest the firearms for metal scrap and components boxes.

Yeah, especially like the stuff that doesn’t work, campfires and whatnot. Around my camp is a big fence I’d like to get rid of to expand my fencing, but I ended up building stairs over it, looks like ♥♥♥♥ though

I have the same issue. I have a base that I like, but the inside of the house is full of furniture and other junk that I can't even use. I'd like to be able to smash all of it so that I can build beds, lockers, workbench, etc., inside the house. Right now I have my lockers and workbench outside because I can't fit them in the house. It is a large house but I can't even use the inside of it because it is full of junk.

There are plenty of empty houses/stores to choose from. If you would rather that option, there is a blue house that a lot of players seem to like a lot and there is also a red 2 story store in the Community that I personally like a lot more.
