Dog disappearing back to bandit base 0.5.0.3.3

i know this is a beta, but does anyone know why after rescuing the dog after a few days goes back to the bandit base you rescue it from

Before the dog was introduced, the other rescued survivors did the same thing (and they take your guns etc with them). Now the dogs go awol, it's just another one of those bugs that the dev never got around to fixing.

I've heard if you fence/wall in your entire base, the dog won't disappear. Not 100% sure on that though.

Its funny because i have set my dog to stay put and he has been in the same spot for over a month. Maybe that is the real issue, people are not using the command to stay put or whatever. Maybe if you don't use a command they just return to the cage. Not sure, just thinking out loud.

The Dog gets in the car with me, even when i use the stay command it still ends up back at the small out post where i rescued it

Yeah i have fenced/walled off my entire base still disappeared

Ah right ok, that could be what is happening along with the kung fu bear too ...lol
