Dryed Meat or Cook it?
Which is better. To dry the bear meat with salt or cook it over a fire?
I cooked some meat THEN dried it and it turned back into Raw. I then cooked the dried meat and it turned out burnt. I assume you can still eat it burnt but can you eat the dried meat raw?

salted meat then dry on drying rack .. lasts longer .. doesn't fill the hunger meter as much but it works .. burned meat is just as good, no chance of food poison ~hope that helps

Burned meat is fine but will heavily lower your thirst.

Nothing of them. Loot cars and you dont need to hunt for meat and process it. Processing meat is only for when getting bored.

I'd prefer dried. Unless you have a bear farm setup and can afford the biofuel to keep the fridge running with cooked meat stored inside then drying it is a better option.

I use dry meat more as a reserve than primary means. find plenty of canned goods and MRE's to survive. Half the meat usually goes bad before I can eat it... and that's With a fueled fridge 24/7.

i usualy keep a full rack of dried meat in reserve. lasts a long long time. never really need it as cans are in every car now. sad how easy this game became.

The canned goods you find in cars are going down in percentage each time you log in. The last time I played they were at 50%, the cans from zombies (when they drop them) are still at 100%.

Do both so you have a choice what you eat first works for me
