Car Jack
I noticed that you can only move driveable cars with the jack, I tried moving stationary cars, but no luck, so you can't clear the highway of cars.

the car jack is solely for your own vehicle(s) when they flip to get you out of a jam :)

I flipped the truck into a tree; fortunately the car jack was in one of the lockers that I could reach.
Otherwise would have had to abandon or restart.
Moral of the story is to carry the car jack with you, not in the truck.

I'm so glad I found out about this. By day 10 I'd already "stuck" TWO vehicles in the most simple places. One is actually stuck on the road, but for some reason won't move (there is a rock next to one of the wheels, I assume that is the problem). The jack got both of them back up and running. (of course, I'd rather the cars didn't randomly get stuck, but this is a fair solution for now)

I dont use the jack anymore. Leave the car running and climb on it. It will roll over.

You never have to abandon or restart if you save before any journey, and save before using the carjack

Cut down the tree and get your truck back.
