What is the large water towers used for?

as of now they have no use other than maybe using it as part of your base

sometimes you can find armor, suitcases up on top, you can safely sleep away from infected on them

it would be nice it could be used as a Water Purification Tower and water supply.

If you deposit water and say its waste water it should seperate the waste water from the pure water and store the waste water in a seperate tank.

Then you either have two choices either use the waste water or dump it. there would be a Waste Water Tank Dump Valve with a pipe leading out of the water tower pointing to the ground.

You manage the pure water from inside the white house there would be a hot water tank that is connected to the water tower and then using the Sinks, Toilets, Other Water usage would be accessible.

You also can shut off the water supply from the tower by a value that is connected to a pipe that leads to the white house.

Given the size of those water towers, wouldn't you need industrial equipment and infrastructure to properly make use of them? Those things are big enough for you to live inside them.

As for your "floor plans," why would anyone need or want a 50" television after a civilisation-ending zombie apocalypse?? No stations would be on the air anymore, and your Netflix subscription certainly wouldn't be valid either, heh. Most of the furnishings you mention are really just luxuries that would have almost no gameplay purpose or any utility in a survival situation, to be honest. And they are also the types of things that you really cannot jury-rig on your own even living off the grid in normal society, either!
