Missing NPC's

I aquired Rachel and when i built the workshop and tried to use her i got a message telling me i'm outside her location by prox 50 meters, when i aquired her i didn't have a base, early in the game...not sure what that means....aren't they supposed to follow you to your base ? thanks in advance for any info

I'm sorry, what it says is "workshop is to far from base shelter" what then indicates a base if it isn't the symbol above the door

When you resuce survivors, it asks you if you want to send them back to your base.... not sure what would happen if you didn't yet have a base assigned but I suspect it could cause an error or glitch because of it. Survivors do not follow you anywhere, they always stay at your base. The NPC's will only work at work bench's etc in your base, they won't follow you to other work benches that arre on the map.

thank you for the kind reply, maybe i need to restart and assign a base then rescue.....guess now we know it causes an error......lol

May i ask, after set new base, Did you see the NPC icon in the list?

No, i tried to use them on the workbench, their was a picture greyd out.. there was some message which i don't remember, but something like not within 50 meter radius...thank you for asking
