so.... since i have to thoroughly explain myself in onrder for people to understand what i feel isa very fundamental concept. the map is too small. yes i understand there are glitches bugs and a general lack of content. yes i understand its early access. yes i know what early access is, it means they dont have to finish the game and they can keep your money. i know because ive been playing dayz since it was an arma2 mod. the game isnt finished yet, its still full of bugs. there are plenty of games devs abandon. this is one person making this game? more reason to run off. get hired at nintendo (adult joke i know nintendo isnt big anymore) . we are buying games before they are finished, i understand the concept. ideally it allows game developers to develop games they otherwise wouldnt be able to due to lack of finances. this has brought us many good games , games like ark. however where do we draw the line?do we lwt these people rip of off more often? do we buy games earlier and earlier in development ? when we do this we acknowledge they dont have the money to finish it, the earlier in development the more people have to buy it for it to be able to get finished increasing the chances it wont... until what... people are sick of getting ripped of and we see a massive decline in purchases of early access games . then this brilliant idea is ruined. we miss out on so many games because of it. it is my strong opinion that for the price this game is and the current content it is not worth the asking price. its pushing the boundaries of how complete a game has to be before its early access can be, dont get me wrong i enjoyed the 4 hours i got out of this game before i pretty much did all there was to do , still put in more time anyway. i gave it a chance, i love the concept but for the reasons stated above i dont at this time support this game. my main issue being the map is too small. now you ask... why map? well because the game is buggy yes but its dealable. ist about as bad as dayz yeah i hate the glitches but im used to it and will bear it if i really like the game as i do like mist. sure theres not enough weapons , but i can deal with it. no customizability , im a big fan of customization and i love third person . i like seeing my character. thhis game is missing so much, yes. but... its still fun. theres still just enough to be fun. once there was nothing more to explore once i was looting the same buildings in like 4 hrs .... i was convinced for a bit i was in a starting area. i walked out on some places on the map its pretty blank. wheras i have like 500 hrs on dayz standalone and somtimes i still stumble on places ive never seen. the maps are all just repetitive but if youre meeting with your buddies .. its an adventure.... another problem this game has. and i would say a close second is theres no pvp. but pvp in mist i would have to call it an arena not a map. if you were to do one thing in this map id say make it huge... i dont care if you cut and paste cities just make it bigger. add pvp ... you have somthing. right now its asking too much for too little, too much money too much faith. subject to change means he or she could turn this into a golfing simulator. if we want the early access system to benifit us we need to ask for more from early access games. no matter how much we enjoy the little content we are given. if you wish to leave a reply to this statement i would ask you include the substantiating text as these exchanges are meant to be productive and not arouse emotionally based conjectures.

Also giving a negetive review to a game that is in Early Access that is not finished with development, content and has issues is pathetic beyond belief....You kids really need to be kept away from the concept. You obvously read the EA disclaimer but you still went and bashed the game actually calling it GARBAGE, did you stop taking your anxiety meds? You seem so confused what you are thinking and writing...

But in all, feel free to go create your own survival game and get people here to play it and relay their opinions back to you since you clearly know more than everyone else in creating one, well, who would bash another game/developer if you didn't have superior knowledge in game design yourself.

Please in future, stay away from anything early access related because you are crying about devs running off with cash and not finishing unfinished games, you seem so triggered by this but you are still buying EA games, again u seem severly confused, dont even bother writing a misspelled essay reply because i wont even read it..

1. OP ask why map is small and lack of PVP, comparing it to DayZ. OP proceeds to talk about the uncertainties of EA and compare Early Access to Steam Greenlight. (one is with a publisher, the other without a publisher who pays a small fee to steam and requires players votes)

2. People answered that it's an EA game and a small team. If you don't wanna play EA, don't support EA.

Yeah atm you're set once you make them and keep stocked up.

Atleast the salted meat don't give much of a hunger boost i guess, but yeah atm you have to find other things to do, i like hunting bears and bandits with long bow, but others might have found different ways to pass the time before the next mist farming lol
