meat preservation

does anyone know if theres a way to preserve the meat?

there is a fridge in the game but I dont know if it is actually functioning yet havent bothered exploring the craftable stations yet.

yea havnt seen anything in the crafting yet unless i missed something ill have to make a fridge and generator to see is that does anything

You can dry the meat if you have salt, that's done in your inventory crafting menu. Salt is limited though.
You then need to put it on the drying rack. And i advise not taking it off till you want to use it, cause it decays much more if you take it off than leaving it on the rack.

You craft it....B menu, second tab if memory serves.

hit b look under the tab with the water glass and munchies icon its the first or second one
