Storage crate/chest?

hi there, I'm new to the game and I already have so many items that I cant fit into my backpack. I dont see any blueprint for a storage crate or something, what can I do now?

Gotta build some storage. Bring up crafting menu "I" and choose the tab that has the chair on it. Once that menu populates there will be a new set of tabs on the right hand side for storage, beds, tables, etc.

You will eventually find some bags, briefcases, and lockers which you can pick up and bring to wherever your base is. This is especially good when you're just starting out and haven't found enough materials to craft any storage containers. Not only lockers but also a couple of the craftable items such as workbenches, water bins, light posts, cooking pots, etc.

Under the chair icon, you should see a bed, wardrobe, table, chair and target box, click the brown wardrobe for lockers, if you don't see those 5 things on the right where you see the beds you can build, your game is bugged.

The house, chair, electricity and Farm all have different build tabs in the greyed portion on the side by what you can build.
