Good to know. You really got something going here. Keep up the good work. All the little things for immersion are incredible.
good work keep going. having more fun with this then some of the bigger Dev team games.
Well hope you did not take it as a slight. I was just interested in the behind the scenes development for you. Have always found it a cool topic.
Your game has been picking up serious buzz, and I see some big streamers start to pick it up so expect a huge boost in sales I would think.
While it has been done before your angle with the enemy bandits and mist are a cool twist. I think if you can expand on that aspect of the game you may have an actual career.
Best of luck to you, and can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Kage848 is entertaining to watch, no one cares if he meets your godlike (+25yrs in moms basement) criteria of being a "serious gamer" or not.
Everything else i wasted my time reading was just dumb.. common things, assets are widely used in many things including games. I completely understand using bought models of cabinets in a process of making a game alone. I find it strange that you take so much of your time to write all that in here with so much hate. Did you repeat in all of the thousands other "exactly the same" game forums, and research top streamers to review as "not a gamer" also?
Who the eff is this person trying to tell me or anyone else who likes a game, we shouldn't? Delete this. Just embarrassing
But back on topic. Unity and Unreal engines have assets ready to go for various formats of games and "assets" you can say. Some developers use these as placeholders until they can create their own assets, or reskin them if possible as a shortcut. Some simply use them because they fit. With how much the gaming industry has changed and evolved over the years from pre-Steam in-store purchases to now and the rise of indie developers. People really need to question why the game dev bandwagon is so popular? There's serious money to be made if done right. Look at the BR genre (BR=battle royale for those with ?'s). Or your general run of the mill FPS game like BF or CoD or CSGO. Really everything is similar to or inspired by or an "asset flip" as it's now so-called label. WHO GIVES A DAMN? lol Someone will do something different with the stuff while others cling to a the norm.
