What's your GPU?
Did you try to update your Graphics Drivers?
Did you overclock your GPU or does it Overheat?

Hello,

i got some msg from anohter player about solution heres ->

"got it work by entering -dx12 (or -dx10, -dx11)" in the launch option on steam

i try -dx12 or -dx10 or -dx11 but nothing works. yesterday i installed a older driver from 2017 for my gforce and now i can start the game. But why not with youngest driver? I have a gforce GT 650M 2GB in my Notebook. It's not overclocked or overheat. Other games run without problems...

Another launch option that might help you is -d3d9

No way! I tried all launch options.the game only works with an older Nvidia graphic driver from 2017.

That's odd. I've been playing without crashes using a recent driver - 411.70. I'm just downloading a new driver - 416.34 which released a few days ago and see if that works OK.

With 416.34 on my notebook the game crashed in main menu. With an older driver I can start the game and play. Think i install new driver in the evening and try again with 416.34

I've tried 416.34 and it worked fine for me. Good luck and hope you get it sorted.

you have the a nvidia OC Graphic card right?

you have to download the tool to reduce the OC to normal gpu clock.
Standard 1080 gpu clock by me,i get -400mhz, from 1911 to 1511 mhz.

i have a Zotac GTX 1080 OC and must use the zotac tool firestorm to reduce the mhz to normal 1080.

then i never have these fatal error.

every pc restart i msut reduce, i have to other games that it needed.

each seller ahve there own oc tool. look at the page nvidia.

the problem is at the drive or in engine.

but this is a working workaround. try it and please a reply.

But this is not the right way to fix the problem. I think the engine has to be fixed!
