do you get feathers from chicken coops

Once you have chickens in you chicken coops will there be feathers laying around? Or do you have to kill the chickens?

Nope no feathers from the chickens drop in the coop, you can get feathers from killing them or just found lying around on the ground in spawn locations :) in front of the garage just up from the motel is a good spot to find them for me in my game :)

Only eggs from chicken coop as far I know, and you doesnt need to look for food once you have 2 chicken coop

For feathers you should look in the forest just walking around and disable grass in graphic
or just kill the chicken, funny about this game is you can secure food from day 1 by chasing chicken, catch it and kill it with axe, no need bow whatsoever
