Car parts???

Hey folks,
I didn't play since December, really appreciate all the updates. I started a new game today, and now I'm at a point where I desperately need a car. But I can't find any car parts anymore. All I found so far are 2 wheels, battery and a bunch of plugs. I searched so much places but didn't find any engine or more wheels. I have enough gasoline at least 😅

I have found 3 engines, 3 plugs, 3 batteries(one you couldn't pick up), but most of the cars I find have absolutely nothing. Most of the parts I have found were just laying around, not in the junk cars. The junk cars rarely have anything in my playthrough.

Where did you find those engines? I played for 6 hours today and didn't find one. And like you said, the cars a mostly empty. That's really ruining it for me right now. I really need a car at this point😅

The engines are fairly well hidden in corners. Search large camps and check each and every corner.

Like when boxes are stacked perpendicular to each other check the inner corner. I can't remember for sure where I found all the engines because I didn't care to jot it down, but I do remember one being in a box corner.

I found an engine at a gas station, not the one with the crafting table. One at a military post, on the roads, on a hand truck. Don't remember the third. Only one battery at a bandit house. Still short 2 tires tho. Spark plugs I have found in cars. Plenty of gas. Need tires lol.

heading to the mines (as soon as i find it), got a spark plug barely legal .. junking cars with axe aint hitting it .. making me a sludge hammer ;)

I've only found 2 tires. Junking cars hasn't yielded me any.
