Mist last to long

In 2 minds about it :) If I am trying to build stuff then yes it bug's me, but if I am farming infected then I don't mind lol :)

it only lasts about 2hrs in game, if i am wanting to pass it i keep the mats for lashings if not i farm it for food so i dont spend a hole day skinning a bear or deer

So what exactly is the required length for a MIst? Also, too long for what? Whom? Your opinion? You can make time jump by sleeping so I really dont get making a thread for this. Just saying. What is long is the time I wasted here but thats on me.

Someone doesn't even know they can work through the mist. Then complain about it. If 2 hours are long, should dev change it to 5 min?

I've had a couple of those longer mists. Not sure if it's a bug or intentional.

I have been able to skin a Bear and build things without getting killed.

If you ask me it is too short. I would like mist event to last 2 or 3 days or more so it will give challenge to the game.
Any way you can pass it by sleeping, resting or crafting. I usually craft stuff during mist time.

Yeah, sometimes you get lucky... but then again... sometimes you don't...

Too long, i was starting a game, found some shack, looting it, mist occure, without weapon i just stayed for 30 real minutes in the shack in the meantime i was just washing my hair doing some food etc. still hearing that annoying sound get back and leave the game.
I think the game becomes annoying with those bandit outposts and snipers every single km. And then there is mist that happens sometimes two times in a day. Can't really enjoy it after all the recent updates.

I just sleep for an hour, rest for 30 minutes and farm Z's for the next 30+ mins in-game standing on the stairs of the wall (w/ladder... wtf why are there stairs on those now?!? [rhetorical question sorry lol]) or standing on a large vehicle out of reach.

Having the event random is the real deal... almost 60 days into my current game and not a single mist event has happened at the same time. Some days I got no mist, 2 days so far back-to-back had no mist event.

Sounds like you lack patience... but I've never had a mist event happen twice in one day. The bandit camps can be easily avoided... if you're practicing situational awareness that is.

Blimey this kind of went 2 ways lol so just want to say I said I was in 2 minds myself, because it bugs me resting/sleeping and losing the daylight building hrs lol not the mist event itself if that makes sense lol :)

at first it seems like time wasted with mist events... once you get the basics and general necessities out of the way, farming Z's during mist events is actually quite fun... at least once you get a good hunting bow

that's why i was in 2 minds lol because i don't mind how long the mist events are when i am farming the infected lol I play in 3 different modes lol Build mode where i only have what i need to build with and no real weapons so that i can carry more logs, mist mode when i want to farm the herds lol I'm armed but more silent weapons so that i can sneak around not getting mobbed (i know i can ist in a pen i just enjoy the sneaking around lol) and then i have all out i'm going raiding the bandits mode armed to the teeth and body armour lol when in build mode its lost time for me because i am not equipped for them lol :) I don't think it should be changed if i'm honest just hate losing time lol :)
