Model Train Derailment

I've finished the game, gotten all the pieces of the train model unlocked, all the train pieces (except the last train from the last level, it didn't give it to me). It all looks cool and would be fun to use, however, since I started, my model train always derails at the turn after the first set of over passes. No matter what speed I have it set to, a crawl or super fast, it always derails there. So I don't get to play with the model train, nor make any kind of progress before, whoops, there it is derailed again. It's very disappointing and frustrating.

Confirm the issue always derails at the same spot after it passes under the first bridge leaving the station - like it's determined to head to the lake. Have tried different speeds, configurations. Note my save files are pre-patching if that matters
