About your actual complain, yeah I bet you will be able to do that in the future, maybe soon cause 0.9.18 seems to be a modding update
Idk, maybe because in Spanish "Horror" is a sub-genre of "Terror", centered less in trying to scare the viewer, but more on using shock/creepy imagery.
This game is made by someone living on Poland, so maybe they also have two words for that too
Back on topic, I personally feel like the music in World of Horror is more about expressing a "You are on death's door, trying to survive until the door opens" which is reflected in the gameplay aswell
This is achieved by dividing the soundtrack distribuiton on various phases
Deep breath, cigarrete break, break until who knows when:

Fear, venturing onto unknown territory, unsettling, and etc on investigation phase:

Adrenaline. Panic. Stress. Danger -- on combat phase

then it smoothly transitions to the investigation phase, which now has another meaning
instead of "fear to the unknown", not knowing what to expect, it's more about being afraid of it happening again.
If it does happen again, you have the combat theme again, until you finally reach the "Deep breath" theme again. The "Home Sweet Home".

If seaside OST isn't your favorite, don't worry, since this exact formula applies to every single song from the game
From the dusty mansion halls

To the unsettling eyes of the apartment corridors

Maybe even the eerieness of an empty school.

Or the wind dancing between the tree landscape of the so rumoured forest.

No matter which area we talking about, they're all valid on bringing a great atmosphere to the scene.
It's true, I woulnd't read a Junji Ito manga with the World of Horror OST, but I wouldn't play World of Horror with any other song.
