This or Darkwood?

I'm coming in from the Fear & Hunger games and I loved the horror and overall atmosphere in those games, I don't mind changing up the gameplay though.

I'm looking for a similar horror experience with either Darkwood or this game, which would be the better option?

Also how many hours of playtime does World of Horror have to unlock all the content?

both are good games. WOH has a lot to explore. best narrative rogue-lite in steam

If I'm being honest it can sometimes depend on how kind RNGesus is feeling during your current playthrough. I'd also recommend just getting WOH and Darkwood since they're both pretty cool

Darkwood is outright free on certain eyepatch sites because the dev team themselves uploaded it there.

Darkwood definitely has the better narrative, and it launched with its promised features, unlike this game. Though, its final 1.4 update has been ambiguous for awhile.
