WORLD OF HORROR

WORLD OF HORROR

Price increase
Damn, it was so soon... Could have bought couple of days ago if I knew it would happen this Friday. Nonetheless, glad that it is close to release and wish all the best for developers and the community.

The game is still $14.99 on GOG and itch.io. Which if anything, speaks to how neglected those versions of the game are, so who knows if an when they'll get the full release.

Just got it for 12,49€ on the humble store.

Thank you for pointing out, guys. However, my regional price was ideal and seems like I should wait for sales now

it's not like you had 3 years of time or anything

I try to buy games when I am actually going to play it. This game was highly questionable because of huge breaks between updates. I decided that I would take my time, but in the end I waited for too long.

So maybe I would play it in future, but definitely not near future

Worst case you can always wait for the sale while clearing your backlog.

That's the exact thing I am doing. I have a huge backlog

Unfortunately a $5 price increase makes a huge difference in regional price in Brazil... I was pretty much waiting for 1.0 and can't fault the devs/publisher because the price increase was announced over a month in advance... But I missed the chance and now I find the game too expensive for what it is to be honest. I'll hope that it gets on 60% off sale but this is one of those titles that never went on a deep sale (only as much as 25% off) so I'm not holding my breath :georgio:

I understand you. I am not from Brazil, but I am also in the region with relatively lower prices (at least used to be). I personally consider this as sign for myself to moderate game purchases and value what I already have in the account. Maybe I should decrease videogames in my life.

Now I see that World of Horror is on sale, but considering that even with 25% off it is almost twice more expensive than it used to for a full price, I rather not buy it at all.

As for developer, I think it would have been better if exact date of the price increase was announced because people who actually interested in the game would have seen this and made their decision before it is too late. I see no reason in hiding the date of price increase other than kink of the developer.

Are you stupid or something? The sale isn't permanent and the price increase lets people know what the final cost will actually be after it exits its launch period.
