The ritual bow clap math..?

the ritual system seems to be broken to me, so it gives hints on how ur ritual actions are correct or now, on my first run with the ghost, I did C(clap) C C C C and it tells me 3 correct, then I do CCBBC and it still tells me three correct. This.. is mathematically impossible.. It's my first game and it's my first ghost... I'm quite disappointed...

It's not broken... the game tells you that 3 "slots" are correct but doesn't tell you the correct order, so it's possible to still get 3 answers right when you change the sequence. Use this as a reference:

i.e. if the correct sequence was BCBCC, it would tell you that 3 are correct if you tried both CCCCC and CCBBC
