cant take screenshots? (bug possibly?)

hi
I cant take screenshots only in this game for some reason.
- i have gigs of disk space free
- shift tab brings up steam overlay.
- my screenshot key is f12 and it works for every other game
- changing fullscreen or windowed or w/b does nothing, i still cant take screens.
- no sound no click no nothing and my screens folder is completely barren

does anyone know how to fix this? ive seen lots of cool screenshots on community and i want to share some funny ones but ive been playing for 3 hours and i dont have a single screenshot :(

I don't know how to enable it in steam, but if you press alt+print screen it will copy the current active window to the clipboard.

thank you for the answer, i should have said i already know about that, but frankly its clunky and i already used to steam being so convenient and quick especially for taking multiple screens consecutively. I want steam to work...

I have the same problem. It's not just you, seems like something to do with the game.

I can't seem to take screenshots either. Such a shame, so many potential good ones lost.

I guess it was broken in recent patches since there are actual screenshots posted on the game section... or can you upload local screens to there?

thank you for your replies. im glad im not the only one. im pretty sure you can upload anything to screenshots, but i assume people posting screens are doing it through steam.

I am going to link this post to the bug thread hopefully the dev sees this.

this game is so memeable and great I just want to take screens even just for myself.

I have a feeling something isnt set up right in the steam settings. maybe the game doesn't have the correct steam screenshot location set or something? this is definetly the first time ive encountered this problem from the hundreds of games i have on steam. very strange.

thank you but i already said i know how to do screengrabs through my OS. I want screenshots to work through steam.
