Hunting Rifle?

It says I unlocked the hunting rifle but where do I get it in a game, also where do I get ammunition?

By reading the thread where other people already asked about ammunition.

The hunting rifle unlock means you can now buy it at the den. Like any other item unlock achievements, the achi makes so that the item is now available in a shop.

there's also a rifle in the locked locker in the scissor mystery but that's beyond the achi. You could potentially get that during your first gameplay as long as you have the scissor mystery and the tiny key.

An easy way (though a bit random) to get the Hunting Rifle is to play with the "Hunted by a Cult" background story. The cult sometimes sends a guy armed with Hunting Rifle to kill you and if you take him out (fairly easy, he is a human with like 16 HP IIRC) you can pick the rifle up (it gives you two bullets by default, but thats enough to handle any fight in the game).

Yeah, cult background is by far my favourite, because it adds something good with not even that big of a drawback
