Ending A for Horrible History of household Hell?

I sure feel dumb but I've given it a few goes and I can't figure it out. Is anyone else running into this?

You have to have an ally with you, and you have to otherwise meet the requirements of ending B (have a Flashlight, do the sidequest and set the transmitter to 430hz). At that point you get an extra option on the fight screen besides running.

Damn i thought u need to kill him with a weapon, i did it but nope ending B

Transmitter is a different frequency each run and a flashlight to see the speakers (found that the hard way) and an ally (not sure the charisma requirements but I think every character can recuit at least 1 student)

Yes or force them but i need an ending S+ : YAY you killed the monster

Just a note, the HZ requirement is random so just make sure you complete the side-quest and read the herald description a couple of times until "4xxhz" appears. I've had it be anywhere from 413-438 so far.
